intel's core 2 duo $189
and some others
i mostly record vocals
might want to get into production later
but mainly vocals over finished tracks
i use alot of tracks for doubling an effects
lexicon lamda interface requires 1.44ghz

for what i do at home(vocals,rap,effects, mixtape quality)do i have to spend
$230 on a 3ghz cpu,,or even $200
ive done these tasks on a pentium 4 that still runs
until every part of my set up gave out
and it would still record if i wanted it to
i bought the dell for 200,then bought me a m-audio delta 44
i done recorded a million takes on that thing
