CPU Usage

Hi Folks,

I would like to have the ablility to record up to 10 tracks at a time. Would recording 10 "dry" audio tracks require more CPU power than playing back, for example, 15 tracks with each with plugins?

Thanks for the insight.
 
Recording 10 Tracks without Plugins would use Less CPU than Playing back 15 Tracks with Plugins.....

On my P-4 2.6ghz Recording PC I can record and Playback about 24 Channels without Plugins and Playback about 16 Channels with One Plugin per Channel....

So if you are Haveing problems Playing back a certain amount of Channels with Plugins I would suggest maybe a CPU and/or Memory upgrade....
