Could you guys listen to this and give me your honest review HipHop/Electronic-track

I think it's a pretty good start. I thought the percussion sounds were pretty good. Interesting parts too.

The bass has a very strong low end, even for the genre. It has that "bouncing basketball" sound. That comes from too much of a bass boost and/or too much of a low-mid (like 400h-600hz) cut. It's really loud too.

The keys are a little cheap sounding. Sort of like an 80's video game. The key part is interesting tho.

It needs a lead/melody part. Like a vocal.
 
I listened to the end and was kind of waiting for the hip-hop to start. It's certainly minimalist, but the drum part is kind of dull - just that plodding beat and a ringtone over the top. Sorry - but it's too embryonic and unfinished for me.
 
Hey there Kage.

It seems quite obvious your monitoring is not doing you any favors. The sub bass on the kick and bass guitar are way out front and quite bland. Can't really hear the instrumentation.

What are you monitoring with - out of curiosity?
