Cool Edit Pro 2000:

A few years ago, our band chipped in and bought an online version of Cool Edit Pro 2000. I recorded a bunch of soundbytes with my band at the time and then we lost the singer and the bass player to an automobile accident.

Recently, I tried to obtain a license for the program from Syntrillium, but they no longer offer this and they advised the new Sounbooth program would not allow me to recover/process the old files that were recorded with Cool Edit Pro 2000.

I am happy to purchase a license for this, but none of the links online I have visted will allow me to do so.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...Robert

Cool edit and syntrillium no longer *Officially*Exists and so there is no support, they were bought by adobe so you might have some luck with adobe audition if you want to use a legit, supported, licensed software

I still have a working copy of CoolEdit 2000. I can load in your files and save them back out as wav files.
