My first post. I just downloaded Cool Edit 96.
Can anyone give me any advice as to how I might get hold of a manual or something to help me get started?

I suggest before you start using a 14 yearold DAW you have a look at some of the newer FREE ones out there.

You could start HERE and try Audacity

Or you could just download reaper. Its a little heavier duty then Cool Edit, but its free and fully functional. and when you pay for your liscense you can get all the amazing updates.

Its worth the effort and learning. Curve.

I just switched a few months ago from cakewalk and im REALLY happy with the results.

You should check into it.
