I have a HUGE Akai DPS24 in my room for recording, the thing weighs about 50 pounds and is very wide. I'm staying with the folks currently and the computer I use to run WAV files into from my little boss recorder is in another room so using the USB with the Akai port isn't an option in that respect. I don't prefer to lug the Akai around without another person, its very wide.
So I'm now seeking a way to burn CD's on the Akai and then put the CD in the computer and see about converting the songs into Mp3 format, and WAV format if needed. Any good cheap little software that would allow me to do this with burned CD's?
