hey everyone this may be a topic somewhere already but i have been looking for a while now, so if this is a topic please point me in the right direction if not please lend a hand if you can.
im sitting on a stack of 50+ beats ready for sale from over the last 6 months or so , and gettin more every day, and i would like to start selling them, but i want to go about it the right way.
all my beats are originally composed by me, i dont work with samples, at least not with beats that i intended for sale. so there wont be a copyright issue but what steps should i take first to not only sell my beat but FULLY legally protect myself.
im very new to this side of the music game so somebody who knows whats what in this area and you could help me out, any advice is welcomed.
the main things id like to know the best way to go about copyrighting a stack of beats, and if someone could provide me with a basic contract for selling beats that would be more then i could ask.
and if theres anything else i need to cover myself as best as possible.
