Hello everoyne,
I seem to have something wrong in the connections of the edirol m-10dx to my setup. Here are the details to the setup
-MY pc has core 2 duo processor with 4gb ram
-i am connecting my mixer (edirol m-10dx) to my sound card (emu-0404) through the main out of the mixer to the 1/4" inputs on the emu sound card
-I am connecting an akg perception 170 mic to the mixer (and phantom turned on)
The signal is flowing into the pc but with a lot of noise and i cant get to the -12db on the sclae due to the weakness of the signal.
can anyone help me on what is wrong in my connection? i thought i would get a decent clean signal without much noise with this soundcard.
Am i connecting the mixer right? i am a total newbie in these stuff. Should the mixer be routed through something first b 4 it goes into the pc sound card or what?
