Connecting External Hardware

Hey guys, I plan on using external hardware in my music productions but am a bit confused with connecting (cables etc) and how to get it all working.

My set up is:

- Macbook Pro with Ableton Live 9
- M Audio M Track Plus interface
- Nord Lead 4 Rack
- Akai MPK25 Midi Keyboard

Basically, what I want to do is recording the Nord Lead 4 into Ableton, using the midi keyboard to play it. However, i'm slightly unclear about the cables I need, if my interface is good enough and how I would connect the Nord to my midi keyboard.

Were I to have this gear to set up, I would go:

1 midi cable from akai midi out to m audio midi in
2 midi cable from m audio out to nord rack
3 1/4" TRS stereo cable from nord rack to m audio line input
4 usb cable from m audio to macbook
