Connecting A Signal Processor To A Mixer??

I need help!

I'm fairly new to record, and don't know much about it.

I just bought a Behringer Ultramizer Pro Mastering Processor. I need to connect it to my mixer, can someone please explain to me how?

There are two ways to connect a signal processor: using aux-sends and stereo returns, or using an insert cable.

Do you want to use this processor A) on only one channel? B) Allow several channels of audio to use the processor? Or C) simply route the main mix through the processor?

A) Get an insert cable (google it), use the channel's insert jack to connect it. Very simple.

B) Connect it to an aux send, then connect the outputs of the processor to the stereo returns on the mixer.

C) Get an insert cable and plug it in to the main insert jack of mixer.

keeping in mind it's a mastering processor .. you should mostly connect youre main out or sub outs to it
