Condenser mic with bare ends.

I recently purchased a second hand but unused Beyer MPC 66 SW from a local store but the fixed lead has two bare ends (and a shield) why is this and what can I do to use it? (bearing in mind that any soldering will not be done by me!)

You could use alligator clips I guess...lol.

I think this was made to mount on an electrical box and it isnt really a studio mic...but it can get the job done.

Thanks!

Thanks people- anyone know the reason why the ends are like this?
Re;Darrin_h2000 -An omni might be good to use on my Tascam HD P2 recording band rehearsals (acoustic) in summed mono mode, although I suspect it would be nowhere near as good as the Sennheiser MK416 I am currently using.

People love that sort of thing for grand piano...attached to the lid...you have to wire the green lead to the frame and the others should just connect to the leads...its a condenser so you will need to have power for it.
You would be surprised how good Beyer is...I have some that Id put up for things before Id put up my Sennhiesers.
