I'm going to be purchasing either a Presonus Firestudio Project, or a Firestudio 26x26 in the near future. But before I do that, I'm going to purchase a new desktop. I've come to believe that I shouldn't get anything with less than 2.4ghz, and 2 gb of RAM. I'm looking at this computer: www.emachines.com/products/products.html?prod=ET1161-05 my question is, is this a good buy? It doesn't have a firewire port, so I'm going to have to get an aftermarket (I'm buying one with a TI chipset from newegg), but it seems like everything else is okay. What's with the 64 bit processor? Is that good or bad? Any and all replies are appreciated.
