computer crashing and problems in nuendo

i have a computer that i built 3 years ago. it has a gigabyte brand motherboard, intel pentium4 2.4ghz, aardvark audio direct pro q10, and i use steinberg nuendo. I have been having some trouble lately. when i open nuendo after i first start my computer windows opens a box saying there was an error, and closes nuendo. Then when i reopen it my direct pro only shows up input 3,4,5,6,7,8 in nuendo. I already tried reinstalling nuendo and the q10 drivers. but it did not help. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or anything i could try to solve the problem.

What error does it give you? Sometimes it needs you to run a hardware check with it's asio setup program.
