Compressor

Hi....

New to cubase (just switched from CEP2), and I need a good, and reasonably priced, compressor plugin for a project with a deadline of Saturday. Tried searching the archives here, but the search feature appears to be having some problems.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

i didn't realize there were compressors in there. i've seen the eqs, ring mods, etc, etc, but no reverbs or compressors.

i'm using SE3, if that makes a difference.

In your audio channel, select Inserts, then left click in a blank slot. In the list you will see dynamics. That's your compressor. It also has a gate and a limiter.

I like the Kjaerhus(?) compressor, I think it's called classic compressor and it's a free download. You can find a link to it on the KVR website listed above. Lots of stuff to download there.
