Compress Before Reamp?

Hey guys I have finally finished all of the guitar tracks for my bands new record! They were all recorded direct into my DAW and I am planning on reamping them back out to my Mesa. Here's my question. Should I insert a compressor on the Guitar Comp track before it goes out to the Mesa (thus acting like a compression pedal which I don't have), or should I just record raw and then compress afterwards? Thanks!
 
Unless you're looking for some sort of cause-effect-rules kind of thing? It's guitars, mixing and pop'. Mess with it till it sounds cool?
