Compiling songs to record

Hey all,

My question THIS time is about compiling your songs for recording. Once I have recorded/mixed down all of my songs through Audition 1.0, how do I go about compiling them to record them to a master CD. Is there a special program or what?

Master them first --- compress/limit and do the final EQ. Or ideally let a fellow engineer who's ears you respect do it.

After you finish that, there are all types and price ranges of the software you are looking for. Here's one at the lower end of the spectrum and here's the one most of the recordists I know use...
