Wait, won't going to one social networking site to talk to people that you could already talk to on another social networking site just create some kind of wormhole in the space/time continuum?
 
Actually, it's filled with metalheads. While I am a metalhead myself, talking to a bunch of people who consistently agree gets boring. Plus, forums are clunky. As gay as FB can be, instant notification and a more real time feel is nice.
 
Facebook is filled with metalheads? I didn't know 14 yr old girls and old ladies were into metal. Interesting. :D
 
Since 30 Seconds to Mars came out, 13 year old girls have decided they like "metal". Then again, when Busted were big, 13 year old girls suddenly claimed to like "punk"
 
Facebook's full of half a billion people, so there's a pretty wide gamut of folks.

And by "folks" I mean robots and advertising accounts.
