Clicks and pops

Hi there, i was a Logic Audio user who recently change to Cubase SX. I like it very much except that i have audio pops and clicks. When was using Logic Audio 4.5 Platinum it recorded audio perfectly,confused: my system is a P3 450 mhz, 384 ram 13 Gb HD 5400 with SB Live 1024.
Anyone can help me

Check DMA for your hard drive and all those tricks that optimise your system. To be found on the Tascam site I thought..
