I am still getting the clicks and pops, but may have discovered something that can lead me to solve it. I am only getting the clicks and pops about 10 seconds after the recording starts. For the first 10 seconds or so, it is clean, but then it gets noise added to it.
I am wondering is there a cacheing issue somewhere? Sounds like maybe a cache is running dry somewhere. Also, I just noticed that when I boot, and it totals my memory, it says that I have 64k cache memory. Is this normal or low? I have 384mb of total RAM. Thanks alot...
