It worked. I went from a tune recorded to floppy on a Yamaha Clavinova, played back on the Clavinova, piped through the "line out" (or "aux out?") on the back of the Clavinova through an Audigy sound board (WAV file), finally to an audio CD. I can't say the sound is perfect. As a matter of fact, on the most intense part of the piece, the audio CD breaks up. I slid the record volume down (I'm using "What you hear" in Windows Recorder), tried again, and the tune breaks in the same place. I only had time for two tries, so I can't say whether the WAV file plays on the computer without breaking at that point. Anyhow, does anyone have any experience going from Clavinova and using the computer to burn CDs? Is my approach on target? Any suggestions as to whether the sound breaks because of record levels, because of the Windows Record software, or because of the no-frills sound board?
Thanks.
Thanks.
