Hey guys,

im having quite a little trouble making chorus's stick out, so I figured i'd ask here.

if your hear this song by Atmosphere:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qE1uAb-OPH8

The chorus sticks out more, and the verses sounds a little more subtle and clear. hows this done? did he just record it with his mouth much closer to the mic, or is it panned hard to both sides or is it an effect or so? :)
Thanks in advance

The chorus section sounds double tracked. I don't think they're using a chorus effect. And, yes, maybe they used a different position or different mic or different eq or some combination of those.

Ill mess a bit with doubling :D Thanks :)

Simply doubling a track will not give you this same effect, it will just make that track louder. You need to actually record more than one take.
