i'm looking for a good, cheap mixer with a fair number of XLR inputs. i don't know why all these mixers have so many stereo inputs, but i never use them. i just want an affordable mixer with lots of XLR inputs. i was looking at a Peavey PV10 , but i wanted to see if anyone else had suggestions...

go second hand,
i worked with several old studiomaster mixing boards,
you can find a sessionmix 16:2 (16 XLR inputs)
for less, ALOT LESS than $200
i like that brand, nice mixers, but old machines,
some buttons might fall off
but that WILL DEFINATELY also
happen if you buy a brand new behringer mixer !
stay away from the new cheap junk,
go for older second hand stuff
