i record mostly hip hop where the vocal is the main instrument

i have a cheap recording studio named zoom multitrack recording studio
but i dont record on it, i just connected it to the record in-put on my computer
from the mixing channel on the studio, because i had some problems saving files on it, the recordings often lost a bit here and a bit there. but when i just recorded on my pc direct i got a pretty usable sound.
i got a true diversity wireless microphone, wireless is not something i normally would use but this one is actually ok, and it was free because the guy i borrowed it from, started a fight with the second member of my crew so a free mic:D anyways i better get to the point cuz this was alot of useless info.

i downloaded the reapor editor it's kinda free but there is a ''evaluation period''
but u can use it for as long as u like for free, but guys if u use it a lot be kind
pay.. so they can improve the product even more

and u can use vst plugins, its easy to use and gives a good result

and also u gotta use vst plugins to maximize the sound, its a lot of tweaking
of shit u most lightly dont know what is, but that issen't an issue u just tune and listen;) after a while u know wich one to use

free good vst plugins

http://www.vstcentral.com/plugins.aspx

now it shouldent be a problem to make your/others voice beautyful
even with a cheap mic..

u could also use wavepad it has a good noise reduction and normalizer and its very easy to use
used it for a long time for noise reduction its very effective

tip: set the noise reduction on -25db its just enought so the noise goes away and the vocal aren't un even, cuz if u take away too much sound the vocal would sound like your moving the mic back and forth

but now i moved in to the vst world
and sound soap is my new favorite tool i think its originally for
reapairing damage sound and old tapes but it works great for noise reduction

well if there is anything i can help u wit contact me. im not a nerdy geek so chill i just know how hard it was fore me to find the right tools
so i wish u all the best and good luck.. music changes the world!
yeah and remember no good music where made on drugs;)
thats a big fat lie, and u wanne hear another?
i weren't on a drug when i wrote this
serriously who would write this much without pepper(intern norwegian shit)

anything in the comment that issent a fact or u got a better solution please let me know

greetings from K-9/ Dirty South/ Norway:cool:
