Celestions at Guitar Center

GC is selling celestions for $30. Has anybody picked any up? Are the new ones as good as the vintage?

I have four stock fender (I'm assuming) speakers in my cab and I'm looking to upgrade and I don't know if this would be worth it or not so I thought I'd ask all y'alls opinions.

And I promise never to say 'all y'alls' again.

There are about a dozen different Celestion speakers models. The price for most ranges from about $50 to about $120 each.

The question is which model they are selling and whether it has the sound characteristics you are looking for. This is one URL with a fair amount of info about their models:

If there new there probably the lower quilaity celestions. There all right nothign special. Buy one and try it. I think they sound better before there broken then after there broken in.
