Alright. i know i can't be the only cat in here with stacks of cd-rs permanent penned up with old "hits" i made awhile ago... I listened to some of these joints recently and had to crack the fuk up. what the hell was i thinking ?I know at the time i thought i was nice too ... that is what is so dam scarry!!! anyone else go back through your Early early work and find a descent laugh or two ?

I do about once a year. What I'll do is, I'll listen to 'em, and then I'll see what I was trying to do back then, and then I'll use the techniques and the sounds I've gotten since then, and redo the track. A lot of my results have been good.

Yeah, Ive had that happen to me as well...I thought my first beats were pure magic, only to be disgusted with them years later. As your ear develops/matures your idea of whats hot evolves. I WELCOME that change...it tells me Im still on top of my game.
