Castlevania 2 (Bloody Tears) Cover by Lame Genie

Hey guys. I play drums in a video game cover band called Lame Genie.
Here is our cover of Castelvania 2 that I recorded. Overall I think the mix is ok but I feel like its missing some GROWL or some body. Feels a hair scooped or missing mids? What are your opinions? Do you dig the 'scooped' sound or could you go for some more mids?

Really good guitar playing.

I thought things in general sounded pretty good. I think there is a slight build up of lower midrange frequencies. Like in the 600hz - 1200hz octave.

Other than that I thought it was well balanced. The little synth thing in the intro bouncing back and forth from left to right was cool. I was hoping it wouldn't last too long because that would get distracting especially on earbuds. But you used it just right.
