Hi
I've just formated the 80gig HD and installed OSX on a dual g4 mac, and then installed OS 9.2.2 from the osx discs, on the same partition. I've restarted and booted from OS9, and then installed the recently downloaded drivers for a MOTU 896, and it was recognized by the control panel. But when i try to install Digital Performer 3, i get a message that says that there's not enough space on the hd to install. And I KNOW i have at least 75 gigs free. Why is this? Am i missing something?
All this setup is from a friend, and it seems he's lost the geting started guide from DP, and maybe there's something extra i should do to install? The users guide focuses only on the program...
Also... should i be better just installing OS9? or maybe make a different partition for it? Or is the os9 in the osx disc incomplete somehow?
I'm not new to macs, but i've only used them for graphic design. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
