Cakewalk VST wrapper problem

I've had the FXpansion VST wrapper for years and it has worked fine. Cake sent the latest version (they bought out FXpansion's wrapper) and now SF (and CEP) lock up when I cancel or quit a VST plug-in. Anyone else having this problem?

Will do. Heard that this problem has occurred for others as well.

You could try uninstalling the new version. Then, reinstalling the older version.
