OK Lets say you have one song on track one and the other on track 2 and you've offest them at the point you want to cross fade.

Open track 1 in the audio editor window and right click and select envelope and create a volume envelope. You will get a red line running through the waveform. This is the volume envelope. You can click on the envelope (may need to use the draw icon) and a red square will appear on the red line. This can be moved with the mouse. Now click on the line at the end of the song and pull the red box created down to the bottom and you will have a fade out. Now do the same to the track 2 except you create a fade in at the front. Now you can play with the fade out and fade in till you get what you want. :)
hope this helps

cheers
