CAD cm217

I needed to find some gift for my aunt to get me for Christmas so I told her to get the set of CAD cm217 for $50 because I had to come up with something. Im not expecting anything great for $25 microphones but I want to know if anyone has been able to get good audio out of these mics?

Plenty of reviews at musicians friend but remember most of those people have never had high end mics to compare them to.
