Hi forum members.
this is my first post here and I hope that you guys and girls will be able to help me out.

I've been recording since the beginning of this year. Started with a tiny mixer and some cheap mics and slowly but surely I've been upgrading.

last month I upgraded big time. (well for me at least, I'm a 16 year old living in South Africa, give me a break )

The reason I'm posting is because I need to buy cables that will get me going.
I'm going to put up all my hardware specs and then if you'd be so kind as to just tell me what cables I should get?

I have monitors sorted. and Obviously the firestudio is already connected to my Pc via firewire and working

You need as many XLR cables as mic's you'll be running simultaneously and whatever 1/4" cables you need to connect your preamps to your interface. As long as needed to reach from your mics to your inputs. Is there something that makes this more complicated that I'm not picking up on?

Figure out what you'll be running, when you'll be running it and what you'll be running it to/through and buy your cables accordingly.
