I'm soon going G5 2.5 Dual and Logic Pro. I visited my music pro-store yesterday for a gear chat. He asked me; why don't you buy a digi 002 rack instead of an i.e. m-audio interface? After thinking about it I say it's a great tip. It doesnt cost that much more, you get better preamps, a bunch of ins and also get protools software in the same buy. Just hook the 002 to the mac on a firewire cable and off you go.
That way I hopefully can get the best from both worlds, and I can prepare my future preproductions for 100% compatibility with pro studios running either protools or pro logic.
