Burner CD from Korg D888 w/ Ext. USB CDR

Hi Skeezee.
Problem is that Korg has limited ease of transferability of the data that is created with the D888. Like I said about the post about video, that usb port is strictly for computer connection. It shows up as a hard drive on the computer. But here's something to consider: The optical output can burn directly to a cd/dvd burner that has the compatible input. I can't say for sure, but just about every dvd burner has the requisite optical input and they can all burn cds.
The advantage here is that the audio is pure, not affected by electrical interference, the way TS, TRS and XLR plugs can be.
The disadvantage is that whatever you burn to the cd is permanent in that you get 2 tracks and no way to edit them, i.e. the mix is final.
