Hi guys, i'm building a midi controller for my final year project(i'm studying electronic engineering). One of my target applications for this was protools, however protools won't accept anything less than a HUI controller. Does anyone know where i might get a detailed HUI specification. Apparently it's a closely guarded secret.
The controller will be similar to the behringer control BCF units. Also i'm including a little sensor block in the design. If anyone has any novel ideas for a useful features let me know i reckon it will be a on-going side project.

Well the controls should be easy (check out Midibox if you need inspiration). I would like to see a highly programable device (ala PC1600) that was modular and have feedback. There are no good affordable cubase controllers..
