Building a computer...for the first time.

Yeh, I've researched the thermal paste and the compatibility of all the different parts. It's just so many choices lol. I guess that's a good thing though.

I was thinking about getting a rackmounted case. Does anyone here have any experience with these and could give any tips/reccomendations?

I would just find one that someone else built on ebay. I just got a pretty nice "gaming computer" for $450 that dude prolly spent $1000 building a few months ago. Make sure it has a good case, I would stay away from brands like HP or Gateway and such. They put decent power in a shitty case and you have cooling problems.
