Sonusman, can I benifit from both the BRC and ADAT EDIT to go along with my STUDIOPACK ? Or would I be spending money on two devices that have very similar capabilities? Also, can I expand with another STUDIO 24 or 32 without having to buy additional hardware/software ? One last thing; can you break down some of the things that I would be capable of doing with ADAT EDIT in conjuction with the STUDIO PACK ? I downloaded the manual, but damn....now thats a manual. thanks-jax

Well, the BRC is a very nice device if you are using two or more ADAT's. But if you only have one, you will find few benefits from it. You can emulate any of it's functions with software.
But, the BRC can be a time code master for a whole studio too, something the ADAT edit card can't be. So if you are syncing sequencers and what not to your ADAT's, you will need some kind of syncing device that works with the Alesis proprietary time code.
