I have a BR8 that I've been using for about a year. I have a project of about 12 songs which are 80 percent complete.

1. I have been thinking about upgrading to the 250M zip drive and was wondering if I would have a problem reading those 100M disks?

2. Would I be able to do a 'backup disk' command and put the tracks recorded on the 100M disks onto the 250M disks? (I have been pulling out my hair bouncing parts to make room for vocal parts and having to erase the individual parts) I hope that statement makes sense.

Thanks!

I did the 250MB ZIP conversion and yes, you can still work on any songs that were recorded on 100MB ZIP.

I didn't have to backup any songs from 100mb to 250mb but I'm thinking it should work, you may to swap the disks about a 100 times :( .

Is it better to spend the money on the zip drive or a cd burner?

If you don't have a CD burner, I would buy a burner first. Most songs aren't over 5 min anyway.

Any suggestions on CD burners? Which is the least expensive?

For a stand alone burner or CD-RW? For a stand-alone burner any brand that has a opticial input would be perfect.
