Got a Soundblaster live card and i want to record from my mixer into it then onto cool edit pro? how do i do this? I can hear my turntables on my computer speakers when i run them into the soundblasters line-in but wheni hit record on cool edit...nothing comes up.

Check to make sure cool edits properties are set to record from your soundblaster.
 
Ive got my wave in properties set to SB wave device
Ive got Soundblaster 1st on my multitrack preference order..ive got no idea whats going on, some help please
 
ok i figured it out, i just kept moving things around till it worked.
