Boss GT70 vs. Vox Tonelab EX

Learning, always learning
What do you guys think is a better overall package: Boss ME-70 or VOX Tonelab EX?

I've got the ME-70 and have enjoyed it, but something about a tube driven amp modeler appeals to me. I've heard some of the various distortions through the Tonelab and I must say I like 'em. There are also more options of amp models within the Tonelab.

It's a decision of whether I should get the Tonelab EX and get rid of the ME-70, pass on the Tonelab and keep the ME-70, or have both.:o

Damn decisions!

Anyone A/B'd these two together and got an opinion on them??

The ME70 has much greater FX, the TL has much better amp models, the ME70 is far superior for live use especially with an amp, TL better for home recording/non gigging work.

It would depend on your need and if you use an amp.

Gaetano, that is an awesome summary. Thanks a bunch! I don't gig, and I've got a Roland Micro Cube (for when the wife and kiddo are home) and a VOX Super Berkeley III for times when I can "let 'er rip".

I think I just might order the TL and sell the ME-70, if the TL has a decent reverb and chorus in it.
