My Blue mic cable died on me 
Its one of those green ones with gold switchcraft type xlr connector(female end). I took it apart and uh huh- the white cable is not even attached to the sleeve. Pin 3 I think. I noticed its a quad cable-2 cables per sleeve and ground? Also I noticed that it appears that there is a jumper line from pin 2 and the 4th sleeve(which has no cable)?
What is that about.
Total newb with rolling my own cables. Its about time I start rolling and fixing my own cables.
Any help?
