beyer opus 87?

Does anyone have experience using one of these?
I'm tempted to buy 1 to try on my rack tom and snare and some opinions would be handy

It's OK, nothing great. Hard to position really...and doesn't stay real well in place. The sound is...OK.

thanks for the advice man, what would you choose for a similar price instead? or what would everyone else choose, i like sm57s but would like a little more attack would a sennheiser e604 be good? is the e904 any better?

Tons of stuff will work fine, I use CAD M179's on toms but can tell you the CAD TSM411's are very decent, the Audix D2 / D4 rock out nicely...
