Best Way to Cable Presonus Boxes with Mackie Mixer

I have a Presonus Firebox, a Presonus TubePre, a Presonus HP4 headphone amplifier, and a little Mackie 402-VLZ3 mixer. I wonder if I can get some advice on how best to wire these fellas up.

What I'd love to do, for the purposes of audio recording, is go:

Mackie >>> TubePre >>> Firebox >>> HP4 >>> out to a pair of M-Audio studio monitors.

Questions:

1. Is this a reasonable way to set things up?
2. Can it be done?
3. Which of the Presonus components need to be AC-powered -- all but the Firebox? Each of the three has an AC plug, but right now I'm only plugging in the HP4.

My thought was to take a balanced XLR out of the TubePre and go to the Firebox 1/4" line in (but is it a problem that I'm only sending a mono signal to Line In 3?). Then I was going to take the Firebox's main outs to the HP4's left and right inputs and then out from the HP4 outputs to my monitors. So far, so good. But then where to I aim the main outs of the Mackie mixer?

Or ... should I put the TubePre BEFORE the Mackie mixer?

Thanks for any illumination.
