love the fantom...a great piece of gear. definatley better then the korg and yamaha counterparts IMHO.

Picked Motif, but I use YAMAHA and KORG in my setup. So it's all going to boil down to a matter of taste.

Laters

I'm gonna pick the Triton's simply on their workflow. All 3 sound good, I'm just better accustomed to Korg's, and the way you move around inside the box.

I love my Kurz k2000.

I have played tritons, motifs, and s90s, but prefer the aftertouch feel and programability of the k2000.

Sure!

Can there really be a "best" synth on the market?

For EACH and EVERY musician out there!
Some like the simpler boards...(PSR anyone?!)...
Some like the MONSTERS (Aka: Kawai K5 / K5000 programmers)...
Some like the Analogs (Ion??? Waldorf???) and
Some like the Digital Playbacks...

Use your ears and listen to people but DON'T STOP MAKING YOUR MUSIC!!!

Most every bit of Waldorf equipment is digital (as is the Ion)...Really Good "Virtual Analogs" though.

How about:
Some like the Analogs (Juno??? Sequential Circuits???)

Just nit-picking :)

I like the analogs. My vote for best synth goes to the Super Jupiter.

Or the Andromeda. But I don't work much at the studio that has one of those anymore...
