Wether I'm using one mic or two the phasing problem still exists. I can't comment on a clarinet but I'm micing a low whistle and with one mic I'm getting a phasing problem - it's actually quite cool but not really what I'm after at the moment. As I rock backwards and forwards - hence varrying the distance from bottom of the instrument to the mic more than the top - the phase is shifting like when I use an phasor with pedal. I havn't had these problems with a sax so perhaps its just a 'aerophone' problem ??
