Best Mic for Emcees

neuman m149 its only 3k -4k ;)

check out the shure sm7 thats what i use you can check my stuff out and see how it sounds

No price Range shorty?

Well either this is an issue and you just forgot to post it or you
are stackin chips.. but my guess is you prob don't wanna
go the 3-4k route.. though i could be wrong but if you want
a good condenser that is highly worth every penny and sounds
really well i would go with the studio project's B-1 it's very inexpensive and sounds very well... if you want you can check my joint's out.. the first couple are the newer one's the other's were done with the classic shit box radio shack mic.. and see if you like that sound... hope this helps.. peace

The emcees I have been working with lately really like my Groove Tubes GT55. Its really a personal thing though. go to the store and a/b a bunch of mics and find the one that compliments you. Some of my clients have sounded the best on a sm57.
Peace,

ps, I just found this forum and have really enjoyed what I have been reading, except for a few cocky folks that think they poop gold.
