dachay2tnr One Hit Wonder Dec 31, 2001 #5 I've used both Wavelab and Sound Forge. Both are good programs, but my personal preference is Wavelab.

rats New member Dec 31, 2001 #6 I use Cool Edit Pro and way dig it but it's the only editing software I'm very familiar with. Cool Edit Pro is coming out with a new version any minute though so I'd wait a day or two if it's not already out.

C cat Member Jan 1, 2002 #8 can any of them edit in real time? does anyone have any opinions on T-racks or Ozone Izotope? The reason for these questions is that I'm in the process of upgrading my home studio, so any info added will be helpful.

dobro Well-known member Jan 1, 2002 #10 Cool Edit 1.2 doesn't do real time effects, but the new version (which hasn't yet been released) does. I haven't heard one criticism of izotope ozone. Not one. Lots and lots of praise. Good manual too.
