I'm looking for the Best Bang For Buck Rackable Noise Gate for guitar?
My budget is less than 200, and I only need a single channel. Anyone have any suggestions? Recommendations from personal experience?

I have a sonic maximizer with noise reduction right now, and it sucks to say the least.

How about a cheap compresser with a noise gate included? Behringer Composers and Alesis 3630's will only run you about 40 bucks nowadays. The compresser on the 3630 is shit, the gate works okay, and all those little blinky lights just drive the girlies wild.
 
if you want really good NR you need to get an ISP decimator. the rack version is a little over $200 and it's 2 channels. the pedal works just as well though and you can get it for a little over $100. there is NO tone suck with it at all.
 
try the Dunlop mxr m-135 smartgate 85-95. It's a stomp box but one of the best gates out. It's a updated version of the rockman 1/2 rack smart gate that now runs between 200-300 on ebay.
