Behringer UB1204 and Sony Hi-Fi

Hey all,

Just got a behringer UB1204, and also noticed that my little hi fi system (Sony CMT-CP11) has some plugs on the back for MD/VIDEO in. Would it be possible to use one of the outputs on the behringer to connect it to the stereo and use it as a monitor setup? Would allow me to hold out on buying monitors for a while.

Go for it. That is what I did when I started! I don't know about the video in though.

I assume theres no reason I cant use the main L/R out for this... the main outs on the behringer are XLR, the back of the stereo are RCA... I assume an XLR->RCA cable isnt an uncommon thing? (Yes, newbie here folks)
