Hello I pickup some stuff need some help setting it up I've got Tascam 238 8
track Tascam M1516 Mixer that just pulgs into each other.
I pickup this stuff whats the best way to hook it up?
Alesis 3630 compressor
Alesis M-EQ230 Equalizer
2 Digitech S100 multi effects processors
Tascam PE-40 , 4 channel parametric equalizer
S-patch plus 48 point patchbay
Ibanez dm1000 digital delay
The mixer has 3 aux sends 4 returns 2 stereo 2 mono? aux 1,2 are stereo but only have 1 1/4 going out not 2 left/right each?

Best to use EQ before you lay on effects and compression. You don't use compression on everything either. You need to understand to the best of your ability what the hell it is, how it works & when to use it. (Use it tastefully and only on tracks needed during mixdown and if mastering at home you use it on your final mix.)


If those auxes are each stereo with a single 1 1/4 then you need stereo cables to use them with.
