Beatles Ludwig Kit

Hi guys....Im looking to upgrade my Ludwig Accent and Im really interested in the this set. I will be using this for mostly home jamming and recording and I already have very good hardware. Is this a good price?? thanks.

They are slightly cheaper. The prices vary a bit with finish types and whether or not you buy hardware

i am also heavily considering upgrading to the ludwig 'fab four' kit. Has anyone out there played on one, or heard the kit played?

I haven't played on the new ones, but I own a 1965 Ludwig kit. It probably is great for that classic sound and style. But I wouldn't recommend the kit for modern music. Just doesn't give you as big a sound IMO. And the hardware on my kit is REALLY wimpy. Like I said, good for that classic sound, but if you are going to pummel the thing, you'd be better with a new kit.

Just looked, the modern hardware looks a LOT sturdier than the vintage stuff.

That is well worth it I had some offer me double for my kit like that.
